Catherine

This Paper Doll I created after Christmas for Scarlet. She told me that she doesn't like "fluffy" girl stuff. So I thought of doing a doll based on a character that I created several years ago who is the consort to an incubus. The idea was that she was sort of a Gothic Grace Kelly who always wore black. Her costumes reflect her taste and style through the centuries.

This doll is based on the character in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.

Paper Dolls

For Christmas this year, since I have been extremely short on money, I made a few paper dolls for some of my friends.
The first one is Beatrice from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. My friend, who is an actress/ director, have discussed setting this play in the 1930's. I experimented with that look for the doll.
