These look excellent, Jeff. I'm glad to see you're getting some good work done.
Are the rocks in the Little Mermaid background meant to be the "famous" Vasquez Rocks you see in all the movies? That was the very first thing I thought when I saw them -- though I suspect it's just a coincidence. But for comparison: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Vasquez_Rocks_April_2005.jpg And if you don't recognize them -- think Star Trek, or Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.
Hey jt, I have never seen the Vasquez rocks before. They do look just like the ones I did in the background. I have a formula for rocks and I like to include a diagonal movement in them... that's all.
I tell you all the time, but these are absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Why haven't we found someone to exploit you properly while giving you millions of dollars?
I did show your work to a writer I know, who was absolutely fascinated by it. Suddenly he was talking about fairy tales and stories and stuff. We'll see if anything comes of it...unlike most writers, at least he isn't going to spend most of his time with a bottle of Johnnie Walker and a bad case of pretention...
