She is the heroine of the 1001 Arabian Nights. In order to prolong her life, she distracts the Sultan with a one story per night . The result is the collection of stories which include Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Aladdin, and Sinbad the Sailor.

My favorite Ballet. And I'm in love with your fairy tale illustrations. Great Work! It harkens back to the illustrations in children's books that I remember as a little girl.
Thank you again, Nora. I loved children's books as a kid, especially mythology and fairy tales. I still love them, but it seems that too many today are very stylized and not what I loved as a kid.
